She uses either miyuki or delica seed beads, which are roughly the size of a mustard seed or coarse salt. These beads all have a cylindrical shape to them, and are uniform in shape.
Using a thin needle and a nylon thread, she stitches the beads together by hand. Most of these pieces use the “peyote stitch".
Each set of jewelry has between 98 and over 2000 individual beads woven together to make the piece.
